Although Man of Steel is grossing Millions worldwide in the Box Office and it is being praised and appreciated by one and all, I have come up with a problem in the Storyline!
Till Date,
Man of Steel Ranks #1 in the Opening weekend Gross and with a total of
$242 million (168 Domestic + 73 Foreign) it is still hitting the box office and grossed
$117 million in the past Week!

Christopher Nolan have created masterpieces in the Hollywood but somewhere or the other even experts
commit small mistakes.

The Movie went smooth with a simple timeline. Started off with scenes portraying the childhood of Clark Kent/Kal-El and then eventually discovering his secret (Where did he actually belong) and after that Ship Incident, Where Kal-El saves Lois Lane's Life, She becomes a lot interested in his past. But more than her, General Zod and his men find out Kal-El's Location and come down to Earth and keeps a peaceful offer for Humans, to hand Kal-El over to him,
But here's where comes the Problem, General Zod also wants to see Louis Lane in his Ship (For What Reason?) and then Later on, He doesn't ever mention her name and doesnot question anyone that why is she missing from the Ship? Did he call her so that the Image of Kal-El's Father can guide her and tell her the Secret to Stop him and his plans for recreating Kryptonite? I don't think so. What I Think is the Writers forgot that this could prove out to be a Problem for the Movie's Plot!
Another Problem Lies where Kal-El hesitates to kill Zod. Nolan has not clearly spoken on this Topic but I'm sure something or the other was kept in mind for this shot!
I Hope Snyder is ready to answer these questions!
I don't think it's a massive loophole.. Zod probably wanted the girl because he didn't count on Kal El weakening when he arrived in the ship. He wanted her for back up possibly as a hostage, to make Kal El surrender himself and reveal the location of the Codex?
ReplyDeleteWhat I could not understand was why didn't the kryptonians flee to other planets or tried world engines on other uninhibited planets when they knew Krypton was in danger.

DeleteYou are probably right, This can be one of the possible explanations of what I believed to be a loophole but The director or the writer didnot make this clear anywhere in the movie.
And According to me, the explanation to your doubt is that When Kal-El switches on the Engine that was Present somewhere in Canada buried in Ice, It triggers Zod and his men about a Living Krptonion's (Kal-El) Location and also that there is a possibility of Life for them where he is Present (Earth)
